AVIT, no tiene propósito de lucro y sus fines esenciales son promover y estimular las actividades propias de las Agencias de Viajes y Turismo de la región Arequipa, luchando por la formalidad y calidad en los servicios turísticos que se prestan; defiende igualmente los intereses de ellas. Su duración es indefinida y es persona jurídica de derechos privados. ver revista AVIT.

Nuestra Asociación AVIT, tiene 41 años de fundación es miembro nato de la Asociación Peruana de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo – APAVIT LIMA, con derecho de voz y voto, asimismo de otros organismos públicos y privados que pudieran crearse, con fines turísticos, a consideración del directorio.
FERIA AVIT XXXI
El presente año venimos organizando la XXXI Edición Feria Internacional de Turismo FIT AVIT 2023. A realizarse del 08 al 10 de Noviembre del 2023, en las Instalaciones del Fundo el Rosal, contando con un espacio de 1800mts con 140 stand de exhibición de productos y servicios, congregando a Agencias Mayoristas, Minoristas, Operadores, Líneas Aéreas, Hoteles, cruceros y diversos proveedores de la industria del Turismo Emisivo y Receptivo de todo el País. Nuestra feria es la mas grande realizada a nivel nacional, cuyo principal objetivo es promover , impulsar y promocionar el turismo nacional e internacional , creando lazos comerciales entre nuestros expositores y visitantes.

Turismo de Aventura en Arequipa

COLCATREK 2 DAYS

FIRST DAY

We’ll pick you up at 3:00am from your hotel in Arequipa and drive 3 hours to Chivay, the capital of the Colca Canyon region. We’ll have breakfast in Chivay before continuing on to Cruz del Condor, one of the best places to view the vast expanse of Colca Canyon and a prime location for condor viewing. After about 40 minutes at Cruz Del Condor, we’ll continue driving for another half hour to Pampas San Miguel where we’ll start our hike.
About 2.5 hours into the trek we’ll cross the bridge at the bottom of the canyon. From here it’s another half hour to the first village, San Juan de Chuccho, where we’ll have lunch and a short break. We’ll continue hiking another 3 hours and pass through the villages of Cosnihua and Malata before arriving at Oasis de Sangalle around 5:30pm where we’ll have dinner and spend the night.

SECOND DAY

We’ll wake up at 4:50am to start our 3-3.5 hour hike out of the canyon to Cabanaconde. After breakfast in Cabanaconde we’ll have a 2 hour bus ride to the Calera hot springs. The bus will stop at a couple viewpoints for photos along the way. You’ll have about an hour at the thermal baths before we continue to Chivay (10-15 minutes away) for a buffet lunch.

Note: If you do not wish you hike out of the canyon you can hire a mule

Continuing on to Arequipa, we will make a couple more stops — first at the Salinas and Aguaga Blanca National Reserve to see llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas and second at Patapampa Pass (4910 m.s.l.), the highest point on our trip where you can see the chain of volcanoes including Hualcahualca, Sabancalla, and Ampato. We’ll arrive back in Arequipa between 5:30-6pm.

RAFTING EXPERIENCE ON THE CHILI RIVER

Enjoy an exhilarating rafting experience on the Chili River, just 20 minutes away from the center of Arequipa. During this 5km route, lasting approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour, you'll have the opportunity to navigate intermediate rapids (grade II and III) while marveling at the splendor of Chilina Valley. The tour, with a total duration of 3 hours, begins with the pickup of passengers from their accommodation or agency office. We would like to inform you that, as we use a single transportation vehicle, the pickup time will have a flexibility of 15 minutes before or after the scheduled time, for everyone's convenience. We will head to our operational base, where we will provide you with the necessary equipment for the activity. Then, we will proceed to the starting point located at the gruta de la Virgen de Chapi, where you will receive proper instructions. Previous experience is not required, as our professional guides are trained to teach you the necessary skills for this exciting adventure sport. Additionally, our guide team is highly prepared to perform rescues in case someone falls into the water. At the end of the tour, we will offer you a snack consisting of a bottle of water and a cookie to recharge your energy. Furthermore, we offer an optional photography service to capture those thrilling moments and make them even more memorable

DURATION

The tour has a total duration of 3 hours, counting from the pickup time. During the river ride, covering a distance of 5 km, you'll enjoy approximately 1 hour of thrilling rafting.


DESCENT OF THE PICHU PICHU

The Pichu Pichu is an extinct volcano, located in the Volcanic Mountain Range of Southern Peru, with a height of 5,542 meters above sea level, an Inca Sanctuary is located on its peaks, where in 1964 the first mummy of Height of Peru was found, currently on display at the Museum of the National University of San Agustín.

ITINERARY

• Ascent in 4 x 4 mobility up to 4,200 meters above sea level (Cruz del Pichu Pichu).
• Descent to 2,500 meters above sea level
• Unevenness 1 700 meters
• Distance traveled 41 effective km.
• Duration: In mobility 3 hrs. approx.
• Bike descent 3 hours approx.

CLIMBING CHACHANI

FIRST DAY

Departure from Arequipa (previous equipment verification). The car takes approximately 3 hours to reach the end of the mobility at 5,100 masl Beginning of the ascent along an Inka trail to the "Campo Inka" at 5,250 masl with about two hours of travel. March food (snack). Panoramic view of the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve. Installation of the Camp. Dinner and overnight. SECOND DAY : Early breakfast. Start of ascent. Spectacular view of the Volcanic Cordillera of Southern Peru and the towns of Quiscos and Uyupampa. The path It is along the North Ridge of Chachani with impressive views of the Nevados Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca, all of which make up the Cordillera del Ampato. We continue along the trail until we reach the "fore peak" formed by the main Chachani crater at 6,000 masl. Arrival at the summit at 6,075 masl before noon after six to seven hours of walking. Spectacular view of the Cordillera del Chila and surroundings. Return in an hour and a half to 2 hours to Base Camp. Descent to our mobility. Arrival in Arequipa in the afternoon before 5 pm

The path It is along the North Ridge of Chachani with impressive views of the Nevados Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca, all of which make up the Cordillera del Ampato. We continue along the trail until we reach the "fore peak" formed by the main Chachani crater at 6,000 masl. Arrival at the summit at 6,075 masl before noon after six to seven hours of walking. Spectacular view of the Cordillera del Chila and surroundings. Return in an hour and a half to 2 hours to Base Camp. Descent to our mobility. Arrival in Arequipa in the afternoon before 5 pm
